Beautiful hardwood cabinetry is shaped over numerous years by natural forces, resulting in a distinctive color and character. Different wood species contain unique attributes such as color, density and grain patterns. Climate, growth rate and soil conditions all affect the grain patterns of the wood, while different saw cuts can result in additional grain and color differences. Overtime as hardwood matures, they present an unsurpassed deeper, richer look. No two pieces of wood are the same, but this is the beauty and essence of natural wood.
Maple is a strong, hard and heavy wood with a high resistance to abrasion and wear. The wood is generally straight grained with a close fine texture. As Maple matures, it tends to develop a yellow or orange hue over time. Common characteristics include mineral streaks and pin knots. We recommend this beautiful wood in natural or other lighter finishes.
