Beautiful hardwood cabinetry is shaped over numerous years by natural forces, resulting in a distinctive color and character. Different wood species contain unique attributes such as color, density and grain patterns. Climate, growth rate and soil conditions all affect the grain patterns of the wood, while different saw cuts can result in additional grain and color differences. Overtime as hardwood matures, they present an unsurpassed deeper, richer look. No two pieces of wood are the same, but this is the beauty and essence of natural wood.

Cherry is a medium density wood with moderate weight and strength. The heartwood of cherry is typically dark brown and will darken over time with age and light exposure. Cherry has a fine and uniform pattern with a smooth texture. Sapwood and other natural color variations will further enhance the characteristics of this product. Because knots are smaller and rare, we recommend this beautiful wood is sold in natural or other lighter finishes.
